Lippert Slide Out Question

Our 2007 Montana 3400RL has a squeakly slide out - actually 2 of the four are kind of noisy. They work fine but are just noisy. I was reading in the Lippert book and it said not to greese the mechanisms. Is it safe to spray some silcone or WD40 on it or should I leave it alone?

Thanks,
Chris

You might want to try a dry silicone spray on those buggers. anything with petroleum may attract dirt and ruin the guys.

Did you lube the gear pack? As they get dry they will produce some noise. This gives instructions: http://lci1.com/images/Flyers/LIPShe...-gear-pack.pdf Jim

don't put wd40 on the slides. Use a dry silicone that doesnt collect dirt. TFE products are good. KeystoneServiceCenter uses them. No noise on our 5 yr rig.
