Cape Kennedy KOA Mims, FL

Very nice campground and quiet. We were lead/guided to our site on a concrete slab with full hookup 50A. Very quiet and personnel were very courteous and helpful during our 4 day stay. We had friends come over and there was never a problem getting in. Close to our friends was reason for choice but it close to Cape Kennedy which my friend took me to. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed there last summer and thought the cement patio sites were great. At first they put us on a dirt site in an area that looked like people lived there permanent. We complained a little & they moved us. I would recommend this KOA & even go back there, but be sure to get one of the newer cement patio sites.

That sounds like a place to be if things are launching into space. Do you know how far is it from the launch area? I would love to see (and hear) that even from there. On the tele is just doesn't seem as dramatic. But knowing the launch schedule to reserve in advance would probably be highly recommended.

KOAs are very consistent in their quality. Some look better than others, but it's rare to find things you absolutely don't like.

From the campground to the shore at Titusville is less then 10 miles. We saw a rocket go up while we were driving to a restaurant. They just pull off the road any ware to watch.
