Which way are you headed after Cincinnati?
We live about 120 miles east along the Ohio River.

There is a nice aquarium just across the river from Cincinnati. It is the Newport Aquarium of course it’s in Newport, KY. Real nice place to visit!

Oh, I certainly can't forget about the Creation Museum an excellent place to visit as well. Words can’t do it justice this is a must see! It is also in KY. Near the airport just off of the 275 bypass around Cincinnati; just follow the signs.

Have a great time!

bw2, Sorry, not into giving my money away, I do enough of that at the fuel pump.lol.

Bill-n-Donna, after Indian Lakes we are headed to Dayton for a 4 day stay at Wright Patterson AFB to see the museum. Planning on a day of Geocaching tomorrow and may do the museum on Friday as it appears it is ot too far from us now....

Thanks to both of you for the ideas......

Phil

Phil,
You'll love the AF Museum at Wright-Patt. especially w/your background. We stopped there in June after the NE Rally. Very well done museum. Be sure to take the bus to see Presidential and experimental aircraft, as well. The Imax also offers an array of film offerings. See you in Goshen!!

Chris, Looking forward to the museum and meeting you and others. Today we went to the Underground Railroad Freedom Museum, had a 5 way at Camp Washington Chili, for those of you unfamiliar, Cinci touts itself as Chili Capital of the World (they may get complaints from Texans), a five way is spaghetti, with meat sauce, plus beans, plus onions, plus cheese. Actually it was very good.....We then finished at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. This was a good presentation of the Creation vs evolution question. Never a question to me but interesting nonetheless.

Phil right north of you less than an hours drive is Metamora Indiana. They have a working water mill and canal boat along with some neat old buildings and shops. Dayton Wright Pat is an all day affair. Being an X pilot myself I know you will need plenty of time there.
Wish I could be with you guys at Goshen but work duty calls. I would love to swap flying stories with you.

We love the 1000 Trails park in Batesville. Have you eaten lunch at the Sherman House? Great food, reasonably priced.

No oRV, We did not, just heard of it tonight, from you. We did do Cracker Barrel in Harrison tonight, our last supper while here, leaving tomorrow for Wright Patt. We were in three different states yesterday. We are like kids in a candy store, never haveing been in this part of the US before. I was amazed that Cincinatti was established in 1788. Being a West Coastie means very little OLD history......Some, of course, but not alot......
