Slide out supports

We stay at a State park and move to a different site every fourteen days and therefore the slideouts are out for the fourteen days. I do go back to work Monday thru Thursday. I read somewhere that it would be good to support the slideouts if left out for an extended time. I don't know what an extended time is, they do get retracted when we move. Should I add supports under the slideouts for the 14 days and if so what type of support would you recommend? Thanks for replies.
