Scott, how far away is Spring Hill from there? Eventually we would like to spend a couple months down there because our son and grand children are there.Don't want to wear out the "WELCOME" !!!!

I believe Spring Hill is between Franklin and Columbia, Tennessee. That is probably about a half hour from Scott but not in rush hour traffic. Spring Hill is where the GM Saturn autos were first made until a few years ago.

We were in the campground next door to you for a week in the spring. Had a great time visiting family and doing some research. I would love to spend a month or two there!

Have a good time.

Scott & Sue, welcome to Tennessee! I hope you like it. We were transferred here in 1984 and fell in love with it. We are fulltiming and based out of Chattanooga. I know lostshakerofsalt is enjoying Gatlinburg.

WeBeFulltime - So far we just love it. When we left Wisconsin the temps were around 30's & 40's. Here it is in the 70's

racerjoe - I don't know the area well enough yet to be able to help you out there. Sorry!

To everyone else, we moved here permanently last week and will be living in the Montana until we get jobs and get settled in. Everyone is welcome to stop by.

PackerFan, I don't have any contacts in Nashville, but what type of work are you seeking?

WeBeFulltime - I am looking for anything that gives out paychecks!
After putting in over 35 years in the Fire Service I want something with NO stress. Have been thinking about applying at Camping World or Bass Pro Shops. Wife is a School Teacher and is looking around at the area schools.

Scott, I was told that Jeff Dunham's buddie Walter is retiring from Walmart in Nashville and his position just might be open! Sure wouldn't be any stress there!

You might want to check at Jellystone and the one just down the road to see if they have any workcamper jobs open! They just might and it would be free rent at least until you get yourselves a stick and brick anyway! Join Workampers.com and see what they may have too!

Rondo - That is exactly what I need. I just have to cross my arms and look crabbie and I should fit right in there. Wal-Mart People beware! I have been thinking about asking here at Jellystone if they need any help also. Just might check it out, free rent would nice!

racerjoe - They are building and expanding a few schools in the Mt. Juliet area also. That is the town we would like to locate to. Very nice area and growing very quickly. Wife is looking into it.

We met ka9vrx - Dennis & Donna last night for dinner. They were passing through and spend the night at a campground next to us. Great people and we really enjoyed visiting and meeting them and their 2 "Attack Dogs"!! Just need to talk Dennis into building us a drawer for under our Frig.
