Montana changes for 2025
We've had a 3915TB on order for about 2 months now. Fully expected it to take awhile and already knew in advance that it would be a 2025 model.
Our dealer said there was a chance of some changes for the 2025 year but that we wouldn't know until Aug time frame.
I was sent this flyer the past week. To my knowledge nothing was secretive about the flyer so I thought I would share as it pertains to more than just my model.
Montana 2025 Changes
From the looks of it all the changes look to be good for us.

Looks good and nice features! Looks like Keystone is keeping pace with some of the newer companies, designs, and features. You’re fortunate that your trailer will incorporate these.

It looks like they've had someone looking over the fence with binoculars or possibly a drone flying over the Brinkley factory! If only they had noticed the Furrion Chill Cube AC.
I don't know if the Lazy Boy furniture is an upgrade or just a name recognition thing. I wonder if it's some of their residential lines or a separate line for RVs. Lazy Boy is famous for their "bonded leather", it's not really durable, but much more that what has been Keystone's current brand.

I just went to Lazyboy repair facility. They looked up my account by phone number and found a recliner I bought 10 years ago. Parts free (life time warranty) and $60/hr for work. The location was the same building they house an outlook store. Everything was 70% off!!! Just happen to have almost the exact chair we have sitting there - actually 2. One had a therapedic seat cushion and my wife needs a firm base for her back. So I went home with a new chair and my old chair fixed for $60 (just the old one LOL).
I had a Lazyboy around 50 years ago and the mechanical parts still worked perfectly after 20 years of so - fabric was warn, but still............

Hopefully it IS real La Z Boy furniture and it comes with the warranty. The lifetime warranty and their in house furniture repair was a deal maker for us. Paying $2400 ea for 2 recliners (top grain leather) seemed a bit steep but after talking to the manager, La Z Boy corp. and their local repair team I figured the "lifetime" of the chairs was going to be longer than my "lifetime".

We inherited my in-laws LazyBoy recliner 20 years ago (new in 1976). We sent it to Goodwill and bought a new recliner for the S&B in 2016. The old seat bottom padding could have used some help but otherwise we regret getting rid of the 40 yr old leather recliner chair.
The new recliner is ok. We bought a new LazyBoy couch in 2017. It was very expensive for us ($4000). Several mechanical parts were fixed while it was in warranty. The leather has NOT held up. Seat bottoms are losing color…looks terrible. Plywood parts in armrests have come apart and cannot be accessed without complete disassembly of the couch. I have fixed both footrest mechanisms with baling wire, duct tape and zip ties. DW often talks about needing a new couch…ARG! I cringe everytime my youngest son sits on the couch. He is a big boy 6’-4” x 275 lbs and is hard on the thing. New couch ? Ain’t gonna happen now that I am retired. We are stuck with this one.
LazyBoy AIN’T the same as your Daddy’s LazyBoy anymore. Don’t set your expectations too high!

I think these features are still all "bling!" Flashy "fluff" that is an attraction getter to make the camper have a "wow" factor.
I bet they still use cheezy staples to hold on all the trim that will pop off after the first couple road trips. I bet the cabinets and shelves in the closets are still screwed into styrofoam walls and not any near the studs. I bet the outside skin of the camper still has screws into nothing. I bet there are still loose and missing screws hold on the underbelly Coloplast. I bet labels are still miss labeled, doors are not installed correctly, wood framing breaks or comes apart, and cabinet drawers still fall and come apart because their sliding tracks are simply stapled into a cheezy pieces of 1x1 supports.
Bling, bling, and more bling, all to hide what's folks have been complaining about for years ... inferior quality!
Don't be taken in by the bling! When you get that camper, inspect it with a fine tooth comb and don't let anything slide by.

Thankfully this isn't my first rodeo and I fully expect numerous things to be wrong. We already have short trips planned to start vetting systems before any big trips.
Show me another industry where you pay 6 figures for a product and fully expect half of it to be broken when you get it......

They are still refusing to go with a four-burner stove with a real oven. Seems like a lot of manufactures are using the Insignia four burner.

Would not consider H rated tires on 17.5 wheels or 8K axles bling.

I personally think the 4 burner stoves in an RV are purely gimmick. I can only remember a time or 2 we have used 4 burners on the one in our home, maybe for a holiday meal. The RV stoves are 24" for a big one, some just 21", that would greatly limit the size pots or pans you could use; standard residential models are 30" wide and just get bigger from there.

My wife and do a lot of cooking and could really use the extra burner. But what so nice about the Insignia stove is the oven size. It is comparable standard size stove. Plus with extra burner there is just more real estate.

Big whoop de dooo.
Aesthetics.
This reminds me when some people were complaining: facepalm: about the sound the AC's air made, so they switched to 'quite cool'.
They should focus on consistent problems customers have, solve those problems and make THOSE 'changes'.
Not impressed.

It appears the web server hosting the document has died, has a severe problem or the document was deleted. As it is Sunday, maybe the web admins will fix it on Monday (if it is a malfunctioning server).
Hopefully someone was bright enough to copy the document and can Post a copy here.

AC ductwork
You may want to check and see if the AC/Heat pump duct work is not block off, to keep the heat in one area, my 2024 3781RL the duct work is block off so that only a three of the vent in the living area work, and the air don't get to the thermostat. Just wanted throw that out to you.
Looks like nice changes but let work on quality control first.

I have a Montana ... So far very disapointed in Keystone. There customer service is the worst. They have figured every way to get out of repairs under there rediciloius warranties. One of there Camping World service centers kept mine 5 months of first 13 months I owned it. Then refused a leak repair under 3 years structure warranty. I will never buy from Camping World again or anything built by Keystone.

You'll have the same problems with ALL RV manufactures. Everyone that buys a new RV goes through the same issues. The problem is Camping World. It's extremely important to work with a good dealer. One that will fight for you. It's the manufactures warranty department's primary job to deny the first request for warranty. Don't take no for an answer if it's still under warranty. Find another Keystone dealer service department.
