Hot low point drain leaking help

2004 keystone Montana 3685FL. I’m having trouble tracking down a leak or discovering why it’s doing it. I’m connected to city water. I have two hoses coming out the bottom passenger side near the rear axle of my underbelly. From what I’ve found out is they’re the low point hot and cold drains. When I connected to city water they were pouring water out of them. I since capped them off with a turn ball valve. Now one is leaking again significantly, when I went to open and close it, it’s leaking hot water. I tried to reseat it and it’s still leaking. If opened it will dump water. Won’t stop unless the city water is turned off and all the water drains from the camper. I can’t find a valve to turn it off either.

Temps are rapidly dropping so I’m hoping to fix ASAP.

I think I attached a picture, it’s the valve on the left.

No leaks inside that ive found, can’t hear water running anywhere else just the significant drip, half gallon an hour or so from that drain

Those are the low point drains for the got and cold lines. Originally the were terminated with plastic screw on caps. I see you added the ball valves which is what many of us did.

Where is the leak? If it is at the Pex line connection to the valve, perhaps addng some teflon tape will help (assuming the Pex is not cracked). If the ball valve is leaking then replace it.

Be aware those lines dangle out in the cold weather with water in them. Not good when things freeze.

I will be replacing it tomorrow. Hoping I just got a faulty one as this one only lasted 4 days. I’ll update once it’s replaced

Is the valve threaded on or glued? If threaded, maybe some teflon tape or pipe dope might help. I ended up putting a crimp on pex 1/4 turn valve on my fresh tank drain. I bought the crimping tool so it was cheaper than the shark bites (not the tool, the fittings were cheaper). The crimp tool is very expensive.

It’s threaded, I’ll try the Teflon also. Course it got below freezing last night and the water froze since I turned it off… gonna be a long winter.
