TV Bedliner

I had a black spray-in bed liner installed in my truck when it was new. After five years its appearance had become dull and a grayish-black color. Although I have washed it many times with soap and a power washer it did not look as when new. With the last cleaning of the truck I used the same Armor All Tire Foam that I use on the tires on the bed liner. It now looks new again!!!!

I would think the Armour All cleaner which has silicone would make the bed slick. Does it not?

That was my thought too, I was thinking it would be like an ice rink.

I washed it down with a power washer to remove the excess, but the cleaner left it clean and looking new. My bed liner is dimpled and not smooth, so it did not leave it slick. Something I was unable to achieve with soap.

Charlie,

I know exactly what you're talking about, that's what mine looks like too. I was just a little afraid of it being slippery. I remember one time, years ago when we were first married my wife was helping me clean the car and did the inside for me. She was so efficient that she did the brake pedal with Armour All too, I almost killed myself when my foot slipped off trying to stop.

Thanks for the tip. I have a Rhino Coat bed liner and it still looks good but I know how they get dull over time. I have heard that there is actually a Rhino Cleaner product out there but I like the idea of using Armor All which I all ready have.

Great tip, Charlie. Maybe next time we're in Texas we could drop by and you could armor all mine? Actually, I think I'll try this but I don't have a power washer so may have to go to a car wash after wiping down the liner. I guess you hand wiped the armor all on and off?

Steve-
Just spray it from the can, no hand wiping on or off. It comes out as a foam, let it set for a few minutes and then hit it with the water. The high pressure rinse at a car wash will work fine. You can do this next time you wash the truck or the next trip to Texas I will be glad to help you out.

Great tip, Charlie. Our Rhino liner is looking a little dull, too. Bob was most interested in this tip.

Charlie,
I did note that you said "Armor All Tire Foam" and not regular Armor All. That stuff would make the bed slippery!
