Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I am now looking for a tire monitoring system for my truck and coach. With all the systems out there, which one seems to give the best performance, or are they basically the same? Also, are the cap type censors better or the thru air type?

I have the TST 507RV system. Have had them for over a year, I have yet to have to add air to any tire or replace a battery. I see no reason to worry about having to remove a sensor to add air.
My DRW truck has the 1/2" stem caps and I can check all 6 tires in 60 seconds. I have yet to add air to the truck in 1 1/2 years. It does not have TST monitors. Only the 5th wheel and the trailer behind the 5th wheel have sensors. If you double tow you will probably need the repeater.
The flow thru sensors REQUIRE a solid valve stem. The 507RV sensors will work on the high pressure stems that come with the rims.

I have the 507RV system with the standard (not flow thru) sensors. For 7 years I have checked/adjusted the pressure in the spring and have never needed to add air thru the travel season. Pressure simply does not drop over the 6 month season.. So I did not go for the somewhat larger flow thru sensors.

We had pressured pro's and changed to flow thru TST's to easily adjust the pressure. We change altitudes and temperatures often so for us it's worth it.

I run the TST and upgraded to their unit that allows me to change the batteries. I have both flow though and end cap. I could not use the flow through on the tires because they were too long and would bust if I hit a curb with the side wall. I like the TST LCD display better than the Presser Pro however both work well.

Had been using the TST 510 system on my TT's. Upgraded to the 507 system this year for the new Monty. Will be configuring this week. Agree: Support is good from TST.

It looks like the 510 version has a special wrench to secure the sensors to the valve stem, but does the 507? I want to get a pressure monitoring system but am curious as to what keeps the sensors from mysteriously "vanishing"?
EDIT: OK, I finally found the info I was asking about! Looks like a good product...

TST 507 with flow through sensors and user replaceable batteries. The sensors have a set screw for a lock. Great service from TST. Tire shop broke a sensor. TST didn't care, just sent a new one, no charge. You may have a need for the repeater. If so, get them to provide it for free.

I purchased the Tire Minder System for our 2014 3402RL. (Our truck already has a built in system for its tires.) I purchased the product that includes a blue tooth repeater in the front of the coach which enhances connectivity to the read out display mounted in our truck. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. I enjoy seeing the tire pressures and heat temperatures for each tire at the touch of a button. The truck display also has an alarm that makes a loud sound if one of my tires' pressure or temperature registers 10@ above or below the "norm" that I have set. I have only heard the alarm one time when I was moving from the Goodyear Marabom tires to my current Goodyear G614's. The only challenge that I have had with the sensors is one time when the wind chill index went significantly below zero. Because I was under warranty, the company replaced all the sensor units at no charge. The system was installed by Camping World. Tire Minder has won several awards for this product.
