For Our Colorado Friends....

To our Colorado MOCers:

You helped us over a year ago when we needed an auto body shop in the Denver/Littleton area and I thought I'd let you know of our daughter's house that is officially going up for sale tomorrow, 1/8, just in case you know some one who is looking. Just about everything in the house is new. Unfortunately, no RV parking.

Highlands Ranch area.
House is move-in ready and will be available to close on 2/10:

Thanks Jay and Betty!

Our daughter moved to Denver about 3 years ago for nursing school and has been working as an RN now for about 1-1/2 years. She has been accepted to a residency program at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N. Carolina. She'll be training/working on the OR Trauma Unit Team. Pretty exciting stuff for her.

I'm going to fly to Denver early next month and help drive vehicles to N. Carolina with stops in Chicago and Indiana for visiting relatives.

Here's hoping the cold weather/snow/storms behave themselves for this West Coaster who rarely ever drives in anything other than a hard rain once in a blue moon.

UPDATE:

Well, things are moving fast in Colorado.

Before 8am, our daughter had an offer on the house of $10,000 higher than the asking price. The potential buyer didn't even go inside the house. Only contingencies are the passing of the inspection and the appraisal. They also have requests for 6 private showings to take place today.

It's a nice little starter house, and most everything has been upgraded within the year... but wow. Didn't think it would sell that fast.

They've accepted an offer so I guess I should start packing and get ready to fly to Denver, and then that awful drive in the middle of winter to N. Carolina.

Margee,
Wow! Congrats to your daughter. I don't envy you your trip to Chicago and other points east. I've been talking with our daughter who just moved to Chicago. The other night they had a wind chill factor of -45! Way too cold for a California Valley girl. Best of luck with your trip. Dennis and Mary Kay
