NEW MOC member & '05 3650 Rk owner
Hey everyone; Campin Canuck here from Amherstburg Ontario. I just love my new (TO ME) 5th wheel camper and have a snag I'm hoping others can help me with. I tried to use the sewer flush valve according to the instructions posted and after a few minutes of running water through the valve there was no exit water thru the viewing hose of the sewer line so I stopped in fear there was either a leak/ kink/clog or other issue where the water entering was not going where it was supposed to go flushing the black tank. Unfortunately it had rained the night before so the wet carpet in front of the fireplace and middle slide made me suspect of a possible leak.... somewhere..Was it the flush attempt or a rain leak???? I investigated by removing the flush valve and outside utility shower panel (above valve)and looked inside with negative results. There is no access panel or schematic to follow the plumbing from flush valve to tank. Any ideas??? My next step is to remove the fireplace and try to access a look /service from the inside. I really don't want to start removing underbelly ....ANYONE ELSE HAVING A SEWER FLUSH VALVE ISSUE? PLEASE HELP.HOPING TO CONNECT WITH OTHER 3650 RK OWNERS.
RETIRED RANDY

Probably the anti-siphon valve. Plenty about them on this forum.

First off welcome to the MOC. from Washington St. You probably have a bad anti-siphon or back flow valve I'm not sour wear it is in your module some are behind the shower wall and you can get through the pantry wall and some are under the bathroom sink. If you pull the back wall off in the basement and look behind the convenience center you can trace the lines down they should be white water lines.

I don't have your model but if the problem IS the anti siphon flush valve it will be located either under the bath sink or inside the wall going up to the shower faucet (IF it has not been modified by previous owner). There will be two white water lines along side the red and blue lines going up to these faucets. You can look under the sink first and if not there then it will be inside the wall behind the shower faucet. Some have access to that one from the other side of that wall....a panel of some sort. if the wet spot is near the fireplace then is the sink or the shower faucet near there also? Good Luck.

Pete is giving you some good info on location. I think the use of Red and Blue Pex lines came after 2006 as all my water lines are white.

thanks to all who responded; The shower and sink for the unit is on the other(passenger) side of the camper but the ALL the inlets for water are beside the hot water tank and under the toilet( driver's side) which is directly behind and above the fireplace with no access to see anything. Not quite sure what an anti syphon valve is or what it is attached to ;I am assuming it is in line with the flush plumbing line between it and the tank itself? Will work on it today wish me luck! Thanks again for the welcome I look forward to learning a lot from you all.

First welcome to forum. You could also have a stopped up drain from tank. A back flush (RV Hydroflush) would be a good investment. Paper will clog at the 90 degree bend in drain line.

Anti-siphon valve must be installed higher than the black tank and the inlet for the flushing line. Thats why it is usually under the bathroom sink or behind the shower, usually near the access for the backside of the taps.
