3400RL - DVD Surround sound

I think I finaly figured out how the surround sound works, it's stranger than my home system. To me I should not have to put the sound control to 60 to hear a movie.

I am sure this is not the problem but could someone either send me a pic of their connections to the back of their surround system or a list of the wire colors. The manual does not assume that this is in an RV nor that the 3 speakers in the front are hard to get to.

Thanks in advance.
