Slide Awnings - Do It Yourself?
After camping under trees, I have been climbing on top of the camper and sweeping leaves and twigs off the top of the slides. No problem now, but the time will come when it will get more difficult.
Is installing slide awnings a do it yourself project? I am not afraid of attempting such a project if it is reasonable. I have done a lot of auto mechanic work, carpentry work, metal/welding work, plumbing work, and more and have all the necessary tools so I feel comfortable with that kind of thing. Just really have no idea how the slide awnings are installed.

You can do it yourself, sounds like you are a handy person. You might try downloading install instructions from a seller's site. so you can read up on it a little.

If you can catch the special CW runs they will install for free.

Thanks. Doesn't look like a major project at all.

Been there done that...not a problem at all. I installed the Bedroom topper by myself, needed DW to help with Livingroom slide due to length.
