Toilet issue

Shortly after arriving at the rally my stock porcelain toilet began spray a fine mist outside of the bowl when you depress the foot pedal completely (and before y'all wise crackers comment, no I don't like bidet's. lol) Anyway, I have a water pressure regulator set at 58 PSI so I don't think that's the issue. The Keystone guys looked at it and scratched their heads. They suggested that I see if anyone else is having this problem. Anyone????

Not having that problem. My water pressure is set the same. I do not however have the oem Thetford insalled any longer.

Both thetford toilets in our 2015 have operated without issue to include five six month snowbird seasons. As soon as I see a problem will go to Dometics however, as I did in two of our previous rigs. Your issue is odd, hopefully someone will have experienced the same thing.

No experience with that one, but have had the flush mechanisim explode and the bowl seals repeated leak until each new montana's toilet was replaced with a Dometic.

Since it is coming from the toilet then just replace the toilet with a Dometic 310 or 320. It would have to be coming from the toilet because there is water pressure in the line always so the line isn't the problem since it sprays only when you flush. Don't wait till you get out of bed in the middle of the night and put your feet on a wet floor. Toilets can and will flood a rv. Maybe you are getting a warning that some didn't get.Good luck.

Stock head and no regulator, no issue. Only a year old and will be replacing with a 320 soon, but no issue here at the fairground.

I replaced mine with a Dometic 320 and the flush valve still failed. Leaked when the pedal was depressed for flush or fill.

I have had the same problem. The head thing that sprays the water out had been turned a little , maybe during cleaning, causing one of the sprays to spray out on one side. The spray head has some wiggle to it so I wiggled it a little until neither side sprayed out. Also , I push lightly at first flush.
