Store RV in excessive summer heat in AZ

We are going to leave our 5th wheel in AZ this summer. Would like some tips on preparing the RV for the excessive heat.

Rent covered storage and leave the top vents open. We have a lot of packrats - they don't like black asphalt or lights. Clean it out and disconnect batteries before parking. Have never had a heat related issue.

I seem to remember AZ summer storage folks use 5 gal buckets of water spread around the inside to help keep the humidity up.
