First trip with 3910FB

Just finished our first trip with the 3910FB. Everything went well and everything worked as advertised. I have one complaint though, the front door is extremely stiff, had a grandchild get injured (minor) going in and out. this is, as I am told by the dealer, a new design by Keystone to keep wind from catching the door. Contacted Keystone and was told to take to dealer for repair. Dealer says it is designed this way and no repair is necessary. Well this is a poor design and I have defeated it by unscrewing the bottom and middle hinge on the door (there are 2 at each location) I am installing the lock back that was used on previous models. Can't have kids getting fingers pinched!

That's a shame. You would think that RV manufacturers would test new ideas more than they do, but cost and getting the product out are all that counts. Glad the rest of your rig worked well for you!

Bummer there of alot us who like the new friction hinge door including my buddy with a SOB, on my last 2012 I HATED when the wind caught the door and I did not catch it and slammed it against the RV so we love this new design BUT like you said I did put a latch too keep it all the way open if I want to, the latch was 10 bucks and 10 min to install

We have done the same thing. New design does not work.

Glad you are enjoying your 3910. I just feel so at home in ours.Always thought the half bath was a joke but would really hate to be without it now. Not sure what would be a good solution to the friction entry door but sounds like you are on the right track. Have fun with the new 3910.
