Outside Lock
It seems the dead bolt on my door has died, so now we have no way to lock the Montana from the inside. Has anyone fixed or replaced this? If you replaced it, where did you get a replacement? If you fixed it, how did you do it?
Thanks

Have you taken the inside plate off? When the service center personnel took off our lock to replace a decal, they missed putting the bar that connects the red lever to the deadbolt. I took out the 4 screws, put the bar back in its place and all was good. Just a thought.

Thanks Michael and Don for the help. I opened the lock and the connected the wire from the red lever (which had come off) and it now works perfect. The inside screws were loose, so I tightened them as well.

Mel,
Those screws have a tendency to loosen over time with the trailer traveling down the road. You may want to take it apart again and add a drop of Loctite or other thread locker to the screws.

Jack
