Yes
Keystone is putting 80 amp breakers in for the hydraulic system.

I am the other Ron and picked up my 3230 SS Legacy Friday.

Clean install. Thanks for sharing. How do you get behind the panel to tighten the dimmer nuts? I see no access to the back side. Trying to figure out how to add a switch like you did the dimmers.

To install the dimmers, the assembly needs to be wired and inserted from behind that panel. The nuts go on the front side. On mine, the iN-Command panel faces the door. The other control panels for the inverter and PCS system are adjacent facing the kitchen. I removed these control panels to get access behind where I wanted the dimmers.

Notice, I had to add a right angle USB adapter to the bottom of the iN-Command panel as my dimmers are now in the way to plug in a memory stick. This works if I want to load an update. I wish I left a little more room.

I have also installed a Progressive Ind hardwire EMS System. There was a little room left for that monitor.

I hope this helps!

Best Regards, Mike

Thanks. On 3231CK, everything is in the same cabinet facing the door. That's the only thing I could figure out was to take something out so you can reach behind the panel.

To update InCommand, I turned on hotspot on my phone and updated App, DC, and BCM using the OTA function in less than thirty minutes.

Just a thought, seems to me that if you wanted to go off grid... the last thing you would want is is to run anything on propane if at all possible. Sure it might be unavoidable, but sufficient solar will run everything so you can truly be off grid. My vote would be FOR the residential fridge in spite of its power demands. They are also cheaper to buy and maintain than the RV fridges. I have heard many tales of RVers with 1600 to 2000 watts and the batteries to support it being able to go months with out needing propane or genset time. YMMV as they say. Still, RV fridges are a choice too. To each, their own.

I'd like to convert my 2118 Norcold RV fridge to use the JC Refrigeration 12V compressor cooling unit. The $1500 price tag has me holding off. The 12V compressor runs at under 100W when it's cycling. Compared to more than 550W on the stock evap system when on AC power on the RV fridge. They say it will freeze ice cream rather than having it soft serve like I experience now in either mode.

I kept the usb stick access so I could modify the floor plan myself. The floor plan is a .json file that you can edit with a text editor like Notepad. I changed some of the labels such as “Gray 1” and “Gray 2” to “KitchGry” and “BathGry” and rearranged their sequence to match the actual tank layout. Changed “Exterior Lights” to “Door Light” and some others.

Changed the HVAC labels from “Rear AC” and “Front AC” to “Living Room” and “Bedroom” and rearranged the sequence so the Living Room comes up first, deleted the Middle A/C.

Editing the file is pretty intuitive so easy to do

Mike,

Did you remove Middle by changing "populated" to No? Also, did you rearrange using "order" number so Living room is 1 and Bedroom is 2.

Thanks.

Also, is USB access in the basement? I will have to study that.

Editing iN-Command Floor Plan

USB access is on the bottom of the iN-Command screen panel.

Rip, yes, that is correct.

Here is the original factory floor plan HVAC portion:

}

If you are using Notepad, it wants to save the file as a .txt file. You need to select Save As, then select File Type as *.*, then name the file myeditedfile.json

I hope this helps! Best, Mike

Now if you are excited to try to make changes, I’m not sure how you back up the factory floor plan to USB. I got my file from ASA Electronics and used that as my starting point, Harold was very helpful.

If you have a 3120 or 3121, PM me and I will send you the factory file, and the one I have modified if you want...

Best, Mike

Thanks for this post on inCommand editing. As a result, I found I could get rid of one of the annoying screens that I don't need, the 2nd middle AC which I'll never have due to Super Solar. I also got rid of it showing generator, also will never have due to Super Solar.

I found that I could turn these off by customizing the floor plan on the DC.

Settings>>Floor Plan>>Custom
Changed HVAC 2 to "Off"
Changed Generator to "Off"

Now neither show on the DC or on the iPhone app.

Yay!! I can go now from front to rear AC with one swipe.

At some point, I'll likely do the additional edits as described.

All of this causes me to think of the first camper I ever used. It had a single axle that connected to our car with a bumper hitch that strapped on with chains. Inside it had built in propane lanterns. Sorry to go off topic but just wondering how complicated trailers will be 20 years from now.
