Yes it was Alexandria LA - and that is the bridge and RVTW does, if you push the correct button advise that bridge is 12' 3"

RVTW on the opening page, and in the past , live up to, "RV Trip Planning has never been easier. Save time, plan safe RV routes"

In regards to RV Life, it does pull up base information from RVTW but does change routing. Do yourself and double check anything from those folks.

RTW's satellite view shows the bridge construction as being complete and routing safe. To double check I went to google maps (witch does show the bridge under construction) but if you do a surface view in google maps you can see that the bridge construction is complete and the route is safe. RTW is doing what it is designed to do. Hope this helps.

This thread has brought up an interesting topic to me which I have never had to be aware of and that is overall height of RV. Can someone tell me if there is something I can be aware of in this regard when I look for directions on my gps or is there a particular app that would have this information automatically when you request a route or destination? I am a novice at this and the help within this community is outstanding, thanks in advance.

There are various tools that different folks use to manage this during travel. If you Google "RV GPS" you will get several options. Many use the Garmin system. I have the 770, which allows you to tell the system the details of your RV and Truck so that you can be routed safely around hazards, such as low overpasses. It's too bad that the OEM GPS's in our TV's can't be updated to include that kind of data...especially since trucks today are built with the towable RV industry in mind.

Agree, you would think that the UCONNECT Navigation in a new 2021 Ram would be able to bring up all this information. I just do not want the interior of my truck looking like the cockpit of a 747 with all kinds of screens.
