Folks, more info on the Rally and the signup usually comes in late spring or early summer and is announced here on the forum. The dates have changed (it's a week earlier) and we are blessed with a crew of Wagon Masters early this time so the announcement contains all the info currently available.

Thanks Dick for your comments about the Rally. Dick has it correct and we are in the beginning planning stages of the 2019 MOC Fall Rally and will be working on it throughout the winter and you will be getting updates along the way. Keep watching the Forum for posts concerning the Rally but the signup and procedures for doing so will not be coming out till late spring or early summer. Thanks everyone for your interest and we hope we can live up to Dick's comments about being blessed with the early announcement of the Wagon Masters. Have a great winter, spring and summer and we'll see you all in Goshen, IN in September 2019.

Reservation
Hi. We bought our Montana a little over a year ago and just joined the MO group recently. I have seen posts about this rally and we are planning to go in 2019. Are we able to make our reservation now or will there be more information coming later?
Thanks
Dennis Alder

We went to our first rally in September. The announcement for signing up is made in the spring. There is a sign up web site provided where you register online. You also pay online, and this covers your campsite and other rally related expenses. After you register, if you want to arrive a bit earlier, you contact the Fairgrounds and arrange the extra night or nights with them. We arrived the day before the rally started and arranged for the one extra night.

Hoosierhuskies. The Wagon Masters are the ones that hosts and plans the events for the rally. It takes a of planning to put the Fall Rally together.
Dander. There will be more information posted announcing when and how you can sign up for the rally. It maybe a few months before you see the information. Please keep watching. This post is just to announce that we have a team ready to go to work on the planning and give you the dates so you can be planning to attend.

We just joined yesterday and trying to learn how to use this website. We are very excited to go to the rally. My wife and I are retired and just bought our first 5th wheel. It's all new and exciting for us. We don't want to miss out.

You will find the rally to be a great experience. You can learn a lot and make many new friends. We learned a lot, and we’ve been RVing for many years.

We went for the first time this September. What kind of tips in particular are you looking for? A complete schedule is posted before the rally, so you know what to sign up for, some ahead of time, some you just show up. You also know from the schedule what meals are provided, so you know what to bring in terms of food to cook the rest of your meals.
One tip I can offer, and it is mentioned, is to bring a long sewer hose. The sewer outlets are located at the rear of the sites.
If you have bikes, bring them. Some people go for a bike ride early in the day. I used mine to just ride around the fairgrounds. It's a big place! There are trains going by all day (about 100 a day), but they did provide us with earplugs.
If you have any specific questions, post them here, and I am sure someone will be able to help you.
It's a fun, interesting and informative event. We are going again next year.
