slide maintenance question

What should one use to lubricate the slides and a brief explanation of how you do it please. Thanks a bunch.

Is a dicor product (LAP sealant) self leveling a good product to repair cracks in the roof a good product? Is there something better?

This is the link to the Lippert document that describes hydraulic slide maintenance. Page 12 shows the only place they recommend lubricating the slide mechanism. https://support.lci1.com/documents/h...service-manual
There are other documents on their site for other types of slides. It might take a few seconds for the pdf document to load after clicking the link.


I use the Dicor self leveling sealant for any work on the roof and have never had any issues with it.

I've been doing it wrong...
I've been spraying PTFE on the gear teeth and track. You are only supposed to lube the gear pack shaft drive.
BTW, there is a Lippert video showing how to lubricate the bedroom Schwintek mechanism.
