motion light

I have a 2019 Montana. There are 3 steps going down from the bedroom to the kitchen. On the second step is a light that goes on when that step is stepped on. How do you change out that light. I think it is staying on and running down my battery. I took it all apart but the only way I can see how to change it out is to cut the feed wires. Any suggestions would be helpful.

You are correct, there is no 'on-off' switch on those motion sensor lights. If it is failing and you want to keep it, then replacement is your only choice. If you do replace it, why not install a simple toggle on-off switch also, so if you want it truly "off" it will be "off". I cut the wires on mine completely. I hate the thing. As soon as you open the outside door at night, that BRIGHT light blinds you and you can't see a thing. Why they put it FACING the door is beyond me.

I found the easiest way is to drill through the black cover at the corners to get to the screws.
