Other winterizing questions
I guess I'll have to winterize this weekend. I've read most of the threads on winterizing and have two questions I didn't find an answer for.
First, here in northern Vermont, can I leave my battery in my Montana with the Montana plugged into shore power all winter? It will be trickle charging for about six months that way. If no then should I bring it into my house for the winter?
Second, assuming that I bypass the water heater and pull the anode to drain it and blow out all my water lines, approximately how much antifreeze do I need to buy to refill the system with it. I have the quick winterizing tube next to my water pump so I gather that I just need to suck out as much antifreeze as I need to get antifreeze coming out the taps everywhere? What about the washer connections? Are they high enough to leave dry?
Some year soon I intend to head south until no one knows what a frozen pipe is.
