Window Awning for Slide
Well got a couple of things done today. Put the Progressive surge protector in, then put the window awing on. We decided on just one for both windows. So we have 2 down and a couple of more things on "the to do list" ...JT's armstrongs, MaxxAir vents and window covers..then "the to do list" should be done...for now.

campbud,
I have been tossing the idea around of putting window awnings on my coach as well. I was planning on having separate awnings put over each window, but after seeing yours and Brad's I will have to give this more thought... Sure looks good!

Montana Sky, we had a one piece awning on our 2955RL and liked it so we went with the same on the 3585SA. I think the awning really helps to block the sun and gives you a bit more privacy.

Campbud,
That looks great! I thought I was going crazy seeing the large window on the left of yours. Thought the picture was reversed or something then realized we have different models! hahahaha

harleyrider, install was simple, just follow the instructions and you should have no problem. You do need another person to help. I picked mine up at a RV dealer close to my work. They gave it to me cheaper than CW. $230.81 is what I paid them for it. I think they wanted $60.00 to install.
Brad, yes set up is different on the 3585SA on the opposite slide we have the large window with windows on each side. Sure do like your awning. I have to make sure I take a small ladder b/c of the awning being so high..dont know who thought we were all giants.

We went with two per the tech the roll tube may bow because of the lenth and one hold down strap. You may think of adding a second strap.

We had this same set up on our 2955RL and no problems with bowing or needing a second hold down strap. Tension is very light on this awing. In very strong winds or storms the awning are always up.
