Hello Folks,
I think I should have said we OVERESTIMATED the capability of the Quartzsite restaurants! But today Renee and Michael found a possible site somewhere in one of the flea market areas..... We won't know until tomorrow sometime. Will post if we get lucky. The pizza idea is still there and we're looking for good places to get them.

Thanks Gypsy for the suggestions. Seems like a tough year for the customers of the various cafés in town. See everyone soon.

We are now in Brenda. This is a little town about 15 miles from Q. There is a restaurant at our campground called Black Rock Cafe that serves Prime Rib Buffet on Sat. Nite. It has been really busy whenever we have been there but thought I would throw it by you. I love the idea a pizza but also know how cold it gets as soon as the sun goes down which might make it uncomfortable.

The plan for Tomorrow has been finalized. Happy hour at 3:00 (bring drinks and an appetizer to share). Pizza has been ordered and will be served about 4:30. Campfire at sunset. Hope you can join us. Also bring your own chair and any folding table you can easily bring. Donations will be asked for to pay for the pizzas. Can't wait for all of us to get together.

It was so nice being with you all last evening. You sure know how to host a great party. It was great meeting so many more MOC'ers too. I know we will be meeting many of you on the road. Congradulations Gypsy on your new job with the Escapees BOF. I look forward to seeing you in Chico in April.

I missed Julie and Les and Mickey and Patti. Wish you could have made it but we'll look you up on our way to San Diego in a few weeks.

I will be posting pictures of last night sometime during the day today on our website. It will be in The Brenda section.

Again, a special thanks to Mary Kay and Dennis and all who helped put it together and to Renee and Michael for sharing with us so Bill didn't have to return home and get the things I forgot sitting on the counter. I seem to be doing that more and more lately. Scarey.

DITTO on everything adelmoll said! What a fun evening, with great food, perfect weather and one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Good thing we had our cameras handy.

It was great meeting all the new folks, putting faces to names from the MOC Forum, and renewing ties with fellow MOCers from past events. Thanks again to Mary Kay and Dennis for hosting, and all the others who helped make the gathering successful. And Dave didn't even have to pay the bill!

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can attend Escapade in Chico in April, and the Lake Siskiyou MOC Rally in May.

Big Hugs!

P.S. Thanks for the congratulations, Helen. I hope the job as Prez of Escapees SOLOs doesn't consume so much time that I can't continue to enjoy my Montana 'family.' I'm hopeful it will turn into fun once I get over the transition hurdles.
