Twopetes, that is exactly why I asked my question. I haven't seen excessive wear yet, but I live at the edge of a cul-de-sac and even at the slowest speed I can see the wheels are getting pretty twisted making the turn.
I have heard that some tires are unidirectional, meaning that you can not/should not swap sides. Not sure if the Sailun's I have are, but I do not think so. I've had the trailer now for 10 months and have put about 7500 miles on the tires. Not showing any wear, abnormal or otherwise. Heck, even the white sticker on the outside of the tire is still attached from the factory. I make sure to put UV protectant on tires and cover when they are parked for 2 weeks or longer, which has been rare.

I can't imagine "digging" a spare out buried under the rear of a Titanium mortal bodily without fear since Glendale didn't bother supplying a hoist.

In 40 plus years of owning 5ers and TTs, only 'rotate from front to rear axle when I repack bearins. Reason why? Just because I can. Side to side - I'm old school and never do a change in the way a tire rotates though the manufacturers pulled that caution years ago

I also don't rotate. Been told that the alloy wheel are not good to hang on tire carriers because there will rub and wear badly. I'm guess they will vibrate a little on those high quality tire carriers we have. Also I never trust the carriers had one come down in transit once, luckily not the way.. I alway place a ratchet strap around them to the frame.

I don't know about your experience with a Ti, But I found mine was fairly easy to drop the spare. [Extend the built in handle, remove the locking pin, then just swing the carrier w/spare to the rear of the trailer, remove spare.]

I never seen any wear on on my alloy rims.
A ratchet strap is a good piece of mind. I also found that most trailers that I've come across have a safety pin for the carrier, which can be easily replaced with a pad lock.
