Tire Pressure Monitors Current Information

I am tired of looking in the rear view mirrors for signs of flats and blowouts. What is the current recommendation on Tire Pressure Monitors and experiences. I did a search on the subject and found all the threads a couple of years old.

We have the Doran TPMS and it is one of the things along with the rear view cam that we will not leave the driveway without. A good TMPS In my opinion is a must have. The unit has warned us of low pressure more than once and one can be checking on tire pressure in real time all the time.

We have the TST system with the user replaceable batteries. I really like the size of the small display since we also have a rear view camera monitor and a gps that resides in the field of view of the driver. The small display allows it to sit on a console ledge off of the dash. Price was reasonable, and so far we are pleased with the purchase. As always, not recommending the product over any other, but it suits our needs.

X2 on the TST. Since purchase two years ago, i dont leave the driveway without it.
Look at all the features, and buy the one that fits your needs and wants.

Waiting for TST to release the internal sensors for the 507 system. My opinion is the internal sensors are more accurate and reliable than the stem sensors. They have lithium batteries that last 7 years. There is a reason that all OEM use sensors inside the tires.

Pressure Pro here, saved us twice, once on the truck and once on Monty just in the last year.

We, too, use the Pressure Pro. They are a bit more expensive than some of the other systems but we've been very happy with the system so far. Good luck with whatever system you go with. Dennis

TST here due to user replaceable batteries and stated accuracy of readings.

Just ordered the TST System and will have them installed on my new tires (g614's) when I have the tires installed by Colton RV in Niagra, Falls on April 5th. Looking forward to a safer ride with my 'new to me' RV.

DON'T get the Hawkshead. I hate mine, never has worked right, the first one melted down, second one is like a Porche with no engine, looks nice but doesn't work.

Do not buy Hawkshead. No support and not accurate. I sent my Hawkshead to TST and they gave me credit towards the TST system. Very happy with TST.
