New Honda

We bought a Honda EU2000i which I picked up today. We bought it from Speedway Sales and Service for $879.99 with free shipping. Does anyone know where we can try it out during the 3rd week in Jan. I think I have Mary Ann talked into trying out a week of Boon Docking about that time. Also some Rockhounding with Ray and the gang (The Rockhounding was the easy part).

Don,
You are all set now! You just need to get down to Q and check it out. That's a good price you got.

See you soon.

Very cool Hookman, that is a great price for that unit! Are you aware of the limitations with the single EU2000? (possibly no A/C, etc.?)

You may want to try it out at a full hook up campground at first. Just don't hook up the electric. If you encounter any problems you can always hook up the electric. JMHO

Great purchase Don! Hopefully you got the Companion model. If so, I know where to go when I need a second Honda 2000 to run my A/C in Quartzsite

Jack, I just called them and the price for the companion is 1099.00 it is that much more expensive because it does away with the crossover box. You still need another generator and a crossover cable. They have the EU2000I Camo on sale for 850.00... Dave

bThat was the price for the EU2000i. When I phoned 2 weeks ago and ordered mine the Companion was $100 more. When it gets to the 80's and 90's in January I will take you up on that Robbie.

We purchased our second Honda a EU2000 this one is the companion for $999.00, the hook up line was $29.99. Not sure if it was a really good deal but we will be able to run our air conditioner when in Arizona.

Am i the only one who went big and bought the eu6500is? Very quiet and powerful generator! The eco-throttle is awesome.
