broken plastic support
I'm new to this site and need help. I have a 2007 3475 montana and today I noticed that the plastic support that holds the wires under the desk slide had broken where it connects to the slide. Can anyone give me any advice on a easy fix for this.

I bought a 3" wide barn door hinge long on one side and rectangular on the other side. Used the long part bolt it to the plastic and use self drilling screws on rectangular side into the slide frame. This is a common problem and one of the easier fixes.
Welcome to the forum, good luck and let us know how it works out.

It is a design flaw and it was pointed out to Aram himself at the National Rally in Goshen last fall. Most of us have done the hinge thing that John describes above. If another starts to crack, cut it the rest of the way and put the hinge on that one too.
Make sure you get a corrosion resistant hinge. It will be subjected to road grime and the elements.

I did the same with mine. Used 4 inch galvanized exterior door hinges and 4 1/2inch 1/4 bolts with lock washers, then sprayed them with black Krylon.

We took ours to the dealer and had all 3 broken ones fixed under our extended warranty. That was 2 years ago and I believe they tweeked how they put them back on. They still look like new. Stacy
