Tredit Tire & Wheel Company

I just wanted to pass along something that I thought was pretty amazing. In the new edition of Trailer Life magazine on page 23 you will find this little story. I will quote this story for those of you who do not get TL mag.
This is a guy writing to TL for help in getting his wheels replaced.

"After less than 50,000 miles of travel, the wheels on my 1996 Airstream Excella 28-foot TT have developed what appear to be stress cracks. To me, this seems to be an unsafe condition. I complained about this situation to Airstream, and my complaint was forwarded to Tredit Tire and Wheel Company, which (currently) supplies Airstream's wheels and tires."

TL sent on his request for help to Tredit and here is what the companies response was.

"I have received your letter with the information about the wheels on your trailer. I must advise you that our company did not supply the original tires and wheels to Airstream for your unit, nor were they produced by any of Tredit's suppliers. However, as a courtesy to you and Airstream, we will supply you with a set of (5) new wheels to help resolve your ordeal. Hopefully, this will leave you with a good impression of not only Tredit, but also of Airstream. Good luck with your new wheels. Denny Krill, Inside Sales Manager, Tredit Tire and Wheel Company."

If I am not mistaken, Tredit is the company who supplies Keystone with the tire and wheels for the Montana. If that is true, and a story with service like this, I must say I am impressed. This is the kind of customer service you do not see every day. Makes me feel much better about the wheels my Montana is riding on.

Indeed, Tredit is the company I was referred to by Keystone. My experience with them is very positive so far. Also, if I am not mistaken, Airstream is owned by Thor as is Keystone
