Refrig not working in auto

Our refrigerator quit working in auto so I switched it to gas and now it is working but will not work in auto. Has anyone else everv had this problem? Our Montana is an 03 and the 3 year warranty was just up on the refrig in March. Thanks for suggestions.

Yes, as a matter of fact. We had a tornado come through our campground and lost power. The next day, after power came back, we tried turning on a light. Thought the bulb burned out. Eventually, we found we had a GFI that popped every time that we reset it. We found the refrigerator was on that circuit. I took the refrigerator off of auto and put it to gas. I then went out and took off the cover over the back of the refrigerator on the outside. I unplugged the refrigerator and checked the receptable and fuses with my meter. No problems found. When I plugged it back in, everything worked fine. My only guess is that unplugging the refrigerator cleared the memory on the circuit board for the refrigerator. You may find that one of the two fuses is blown. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ron,
I will try all of your suggestions tonight. I am working 4-tens out of town living in the trailer and home on weekends so I only have a very short time in the evening to try to fix things on the trailer.

Best of luck finding a cheap fix. Refrigerators are one of the most expensive items in the unit. But, you will probably find a blown fuse is my guess. The odds are always that it is the simplest item. Let me know how it turns out.
