It really is the little things...
The heat duct in the bathroom for instance. Although we loved our Mountaineer and had great luck with it over 5 years, there was NO heat duct in the bathroom. We camp a lot up here in the great Northwest and have some chilly mornings.
Although she never mentioned it, I can't imagine how my DW used that seat in the morning.
Side note- she was the first to notice that heat duct in the 3402!

Congrats on the new trailer. Hard to believe a heat duct was not standard in the head on the Mountaineer. I envision a day when they probably will offer a heated toilet seat option for the ladies  Enjoy the new rig!

Greg, what's wrong with a heated seat for us guys? I would enjoy that everytime I use the head! You see, I'm a lazy sissy because, I always set down. I don't miss and it is more relaxing.

Don't have to be a sissy to pee sitting down. With thirteen daughters and me being the only male in the house if I wanted to stand up, I could clean the bathrooms. Not a job I wanted in that household.

I always let her go first to warm up the seat. And FYI, my Mountaineer bathroom has a heat vent, so much so that the bathroom is a sauna. Hard not to pass out from heat exhaustion if you are in there very long when it is cold outside.

We had two double size bathrooms and a regular bathroom and I'm sure the folks who bought that house are still wondering why nothing will grow behind the bushes.

Our 2006 3400RL has a duct in the bathroom, but we use electric heat as much as possible. In those cases, the bathroom does not get heat. I bought a thin wall mounted 400 watt electric heater and installed it behind the toilet. It has a thermostat and does a great job keeping the bathroom warm. We have a towel rack behind the toilet and the heater also dries the towels.
The unit I bought is made by a company called ENVI. You can find their website by searching for "envi heater".
The 3400 RL has a closet plumbed for washer/dryer behind the toilet, so I drilled a small hole in the wall between the toilet and the closet and connected the power cord to the washer power outlet. My wife was dubious in the beginning, but now we both love it.
