Gloria D, message to the forum

Gloria contacted me via private message, but asked me to forward this message to the MOC members who are wondering:

"We made our first day to Beaumont, Tx. and everything went well. Houston was a nightmare and I was stressed with all the construction, but now that is behind me. Jimmy is extremely tired each day and has started to lose his hair. I hope each day goes as well as today did."

This is one tough gal, my hat is off to her. I reminded her that we are here for her, and she knows that, so at this point, she is working on getting her Jimmy home the way he wants to. She will let us know if she needs any thing more than our prayers. And, I know we have all been praying and pulling for her and Jimmy and their family.

Keep up the good work Gloria! God speed!

Paul and I both pray that they will have a safe and easy way home. It is very hard to travel when you aren't feeling well. Please give them our best and let them know that we are wishing them God speed...

Thanks Carol for the update. I have been out of the loop for a few days.
Glad to hear they are making progress. We are still here to help if needed. Carol, don't know if you can answer this but when I signed back on yesterday I could not find the "helping Hands" thread.

Sorry, Not sure what happened to the Helping Hands thread. Did you search?? And include, like the last 60 days.

We are in a rush to get out on the road this AM (Not our normal behavior, believe me), or I would spend a few minutes searching myself.

Depending on the net connecttions over the next several days, I will be back and take a look. Maybe you will have found it by then???

Carol

Jim and Gloria are also in our prayers and our thoughts. I think they know what good friends they have here on MOC, ready to jump in and help at any time.
