Question?
What is everybody using to jack up your Monty if you get a flat? Besides Road Service. I hope never to get a flat but you never know Thank You for all replies.

We carry a hydraulic jack in addition to the jack that comes with the pickup. And we have had to use it a couple of times. Wouldn't leave home without it.

ditto, make sure it's short enough to fit under the axle if a tire is flat!

We haven't had a flat with the Montana, but I carry 2 items. First is the hydraulic jack already mentioned, in combination with Lynx Levelers to get the right height. We also have from a previous rig a ramp-like item that you're supposed to be able to roll up on with the other wheel and it will lift the flat high enough to change it. Not really sure if it will work on the Montana. Of course, as we get older and our rigs seem to be getting bigger, AAA Road Service w/RV coverage) will probably be the preferred tool.

I use a 10 ton rated hydraulic jack that we carry in the truck. We have used this other thing that you back up on to or pull forward on to with the good tire. It works, but we have the jack and it's just as easy. Never have had a problem with the TT but the boat trailer now thats a different story.

I carry a 12 ton bottle jack and a floor jack as well as a 20 inch 4-way lug wrench but more importantly we belong to the Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service. Wouldn't leave home without it.

Ditto the hydraulic jack and boards to put it on if the ground is soft. Took only a few minutes for hubby to change the tire on the Monty after our problem in the Nevada desert.

We use the same 12-ton bottle jack and Good Sam Road Service method that Glenn And Lorraine use.
