Gary ... As the daughter, wife and mother of Navy veterans, I think I understand the pride you are feeling ... as well as the relief you are feeling that your son is safe at home.

We all look forward to welcoming YOU back home!!!

What a couple of great looking guys! I think others have expressed my feelings also. I've had a couple of my cousin's sons over there and my step-grandson (twice). They are all home now. But my granddaughter's fiancee has just recently been deployed so we are are on pins and needles since we all like him so much. Thank you for your service to our country from an Army brat.
Happy trails............................

As a retired Marine and father of a Air Force M/Sgt who just returned from his 4th trip to the Desert I know how you feel. I went down to Selfrige A.F.Base to greet him as he got off the KC130. I was proud as well as releaved to have him home as I know you must be.

Thank you both for keeping us free and for your sacrifice to this great country that we live in. Our freedoms are taken for granted at times but let us all keep our thoughts and prayers to our great soldiers of not only the present but for those who have given in the past. For that I say thanks to each and everyone of you Al

Drat,,,, sorry,, I don't know how to make the picture smaller. Anyone can help with that?
Probably one of the few times that "the bigger the better" might be allowed. A billboard would not be large enough. We are all proud of you and your son, Gary.

A great big THANK YOU for taking the time to let us know about you and your son and the service that you both are doing for our country. I know how proud that fathers are of their sons or daughters that have served our country. Mothers are as well, but as Dave said, in a different way, but just as proud.I know because our son served in Korea for a year then the whole unit, all 3500, was picked up and sent to Bagdad for s year, and now back at Ft. Carson. Our son was a Medic there and some of the stories he has told me, not mother, are something. He may be headed back in Oct. Once again thank you Gary and your son for the job well done. Our prayers are with you and our troops that are still there.

So happy your son is home safe. You please be safe too. As the mother of a Navy vet, I can understand what your wife went through. Please accept our thanks to you and your son for serving our country. We support our armed forces.

Glad to hear about the recent homecoming and the soon to be. Our Son. a 1st. Lt, was in Baghdad by the airport for 6 months right after the initial "takeover". we did not get much news from him as communications were very sketchy at that time--he was able to call his wife about once a week so we got most of our news from her. we were very glad when he got back to the US. We are very proud of what he did and appreciate all the others that have been and will have to be over there.
