Dexter Heavy Duty Spring Shackle Kit

Has anyone installed one of these upgrade kits themselves?

I have one ready to install.A few fellow MOC`ers have done the install themselves and from what they say it isn`t really that hard a job.I`am going to take the lazy way out and let my local "Camping World" do the install in the spring.

I installed the shackles last March. Hamrad has pictures on his signature. He installed them also.
This should take you to them. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...703&uid=954271

Wrenchtraveller,
Don the price will vary from about $130 to $160 or so. Several folks picked up some on the internet and seemed to be a little bit cheaper.... but I don't know about shipping costs. We got ours at a local trailer shop. Paid about $140 for the complete kit.

As Awaywego indicated we did our own. It is not hard you just need couple of jacks and plenty of blocks.

Good luck.
