As I recall the three bolts are 3/8" by 2" long with self locking nuts. The clevis pin I used is 3/8" dia by approx 2" long but has a series of holes so you can adjust the grip length. I added washers under each end of the pin and tried to use the shortest grip length (pin hole) to eliminate as much free play as possible.

So far it does the job and its a (excuse the pun) snap to use.

Thanks Doug. Seen them, have them, just didn't know what they are called. That "little bolt with a hole" is much longer to say than clevis pin.
Happy trails.................

We bought the CW king pin stablizer and used it on our first 5th wheel. Just purchased a 2006 3670RL have used the same king pin on it and would not camp without it.

Don, I just got back from buying clevis pins for ours. Is a tight fit on the length imperative? I saw the ones with the holes but didn't think I'd want to deal with cotter pins possibly ripping my arms when toting the stabilizer to and from the locker. So I got the kind with the loop that will go around the leg and snap onto the pin. It is 3/8 but is 2 1/2 inches long so there will be some room for the pin to slide in the hole. I don't think that would be a problem. Are you finding otherwise? Thanks.

I have the tri pod for my 3670RL that has a chain linkage adjustment I can use that gives me appx 6 inches up or down to level with. Have not been in a campground that I had to adjust my tripod yet. My cup has a threaded bolt to adjust with also and I have it set so that so for when I put it under my kingpin I am lever front to rear. Got my tripod at CW also. Wouldn,t travel without it.

I have the ones like what sreigle is referring to. Going back to the page DHenry was referring to they are called wire lock pins. We are not full timers yet so there is only one campground we frequent where I have had to adjust the legs. But the Lock pins make it real easy and only takes less than a minute.

Steve, I don't think there is much of an issue with extra play in the pin. Your quick pins should work. I just wanted to keep the braces as tight against the legs as possible like they were with the bolts. Once you use it a couple of times you should be able to tell if the extra play is a concern.
I have only had to move the leg spreaders twice in the last year so it isn't a normal thing. Pulling the hair pin is sure a lot easier than wrenching the nuts off the bolts.

I have the tri pod type and it helps alot. Had the two leg type for my other fifth wheel and it didn't do that good of a job.

That's my thinking, too, Don. Strangely, I was thinking cotter keys rather than the hairclips. The hairclips would be quick and simple. The cotter keys have to be bent over, replaced periodically, and provide more opportunity to rip my arms when transporting the tripod in and out of the locker. Thanks.
