Montana/Big Sky/Mountaineer primer

Could someone please give me a quick lesson on the differences between Montana/Big Sky/Mountaineer. Did I hear someone say they have discontinued the Big Sky due to the Cambridge models being a similar line?

From lower end to upper end

Mountaineer (that said, the 2005/06 are so upgraded, they are much like earlier years of Montana)

Montana (also 2005/06 much nicer and have a lot of the upgrades that you used to find in earlier years of Big Sky)

Big Sky (no longer made, was top of the line.)

Cambridge is WAYYY up there on the scale, way above Big Sky. Considered a "fulltimers" unit. Need lotsotruck and lotsocoins!

We have a Mountaineer 328RLS and love it. Not to take anything away from the Montana. The basic construction is the same between models. I do not know if that statement remains true for the Cambridge, but the difference is in the eye candy. So it comes down to what you are willing to spend on the goodies.

To accentuate something Carol said, we were told at the Tampa RV Show by Montana execs that the current Mountaineer is very nearly the same as the Montana just a couple of years ago. The Big Sky features have moved into what used to be the base Montana. So those with new Mountaineers are very comparable to the Montanas many of us have. We saw the new Mountaineers at a dealer back in May and were very impressed.
