Washer/Dryer Plumming

I have a 2007 3650RK plumbed for W/D. We don't have and probably will never get a W/D. Our W/D plumbing is up in the Bedroom closet under the TV. While winterizing, I got to thinking that I should disconnect the W/D plumbing. For two reasons: one the risk of spilling the pink stuff in the closet and the second, the amount of pink stuff to winterize the W/D plumbing.(granted it is not very much)

Can anyone tell me where the W/D plumbing connects to the rest of the plumbing I was thinking that it would be under the bedroom sink, but I haven't had a chance to check it out.(It's still a little cool here)

I don't have the same unit as you do, but my W/D connections are in the bedroom under the television cabinet. The plumbing from the W/D in mine goes to the bathroom sink. That's on a 3500 model. Probably the same set up as yours.

The W/D water lines on my 3650 are taken off the water lines under the bathroom vanity right at floor level. Wouldn't be hard to disconnect and cap if you wanted.

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought.

Don, when you drain the low point drains, the w/d lines should also drain. And if the valves are closed you shouldn't have any antifreeze leaking out of them. If you still think there is a need, then it sure wouldn't hurt anything. Just remember to tell the dealer when you trade the rig or reconnect them! Another option would be to remove the valves and cap them there. Or just put plugs in the valve outlets.
