Ray, thanks for the price sheet. The print is a little fine for my old eyes but I can make out most of it. We did settle on a price with Suncoast RV in Jacksonville and are picking up our 3000RK this afternoon. By the way, it does have the Mor/Ryde suspension. Don't know the manufacture date, but it arrived at the dealer on 12/28/05. We're very happy about becoming "Montanans".

Glenn..Do the new Montana's also include the Mor-Ryde Pin box or is the pin box a option. The suspension system is great but we also were going to order the pin box and have the dealer install it.If you know.We should be able to find all this out next week at our Rv show but we will only be working the weekend.

Well we picked up the 3000RK last night. The rig came without a couple of options we were told would be included when we made the deal, and we are not very happy with the dealer's response to that. In spite of that, we love the coach and can't wait to hit the road with it. Thanks again for the advice and handholding, and hope we meet some of you on the road soon.

Lots of good responses here.
Price is such a variable.
You can do your search on the net to find the basic MSRP with the features you want.
The dealer you use is probably the best insurance you can have.
I bought mine in Southern Oklahoma from Sherrard RV in Colbert, Oklahoma. I received so many good recommendations from Monty users about them.
I bought a warranty on my Monty and they said if I brought the unit back to them they would forfit the deductible for me.
Every problem has been addressed properly and promptly.
Find you a great dealer you can trust and go for it.

Shopping for the new 2006 3000RK and you would think after speaking with the dealer, gas prices are still under $2/gal. It does not seem that these are flying off their lots, but just the opposite. Also, MSRP are all over the place. One dealer at $52K and another at $42K for exact same unit. When all said and done, what can one expect to be a fair price these days??? (full loaded unit w/o 2nd A/C and no generator) Any feed back would be much appreciated.

Here was our experience in Purchasing a 06 3400Rl(ordered but not yet delivered) MSVRP is a elusive number. We put 14 bids out all over the country and asked for the MSVRP when responding to the bid. The MSVRP was all over the place BUT around 5 of them from different parts of the country were exactly the same.Coincidence, I think not.Montana denies that they publish a MSVRP and that may be true BUT my assumption was they WILL offer a "Suggested "MSVRP to the dealer .That is the only way I can explain the same MSVRP by several dealer from different part of the country. Oh another oddity was that the MSVRP form was exactly the same from everyone??? I used the common MSVRP for MY guideline..Now these are not the real numbers , they are round numbers , but close , just to make it easy. The 5 common MSVRP was 60K for the 3400 with the options I wanted.I figured I would buy at @ 30 to 33% off that number. The dealer I purchased form had a MSVRP of 50K
for that unit and sells it to me for 40K.(none of these are real numbers) I did not get 33% off HIS MSVRP but did get 33% off the COMMON MSVRP. The actual % I got off the real common MSVRP was 31.4% (as I remember) .So you just can't say 30% off MSVRP is a good deal because MSVRP is a moving target.
Now that information will help no one The MSVRP will change from month to month the way Keystone makes changes. All I can say is to do some really good INTERNET research and make the deal that satisfies you.

Jeanne just bought a 2006 3000RK 2 weeks ago. The dealer had it listed at $49,500. We got it for $42,000. The only option I have noticed it did not have was Mor-ride suspension. It was built in Oct. 2005.

Bob,
I like your quote in your signature. Can't believe that gal would remain a girlfriend after that gift in response to her request...
