Wind Deflector on Pickup
They must me worth anything ... ICON mentions up to 3 MPG savings. What caught my eye was the More Stable comment and less bugs on the front of unit. Under $400 - tooless mount
Comments and thoughts

3 miles per gallon everybody would have one. Like the chip I put on my 08 F250 some people said I would get 3 to 4 more miles per gallon BS. I got just what I thought near nothing in MPG and a lot more power.

Guys and Gals...IMO.. After pulling my 2011 Montana since new is.... The frontal design of it is as good as the wind deflector. Putting one on the truck would just cut down on the bugs! If that is your goal, go for it. Yes, IMO, and some experience!

I had one with my old trailer. I pulled with a 92 F250 with a 460 gas. It helped a little about 1 to 1 1/2 per gallon. I went to diesel and it made no difference. I ended up on my 08 6.4 changing the exhaust, and putting in a programmer. I get not bad mpg but I now have a lot more power.

If you can get 10 mpg... with a diesel be happy! The gasser won't come close. I am a 09, F-250, pulling a 2011 3615 RE. I'm real close to 10 MPG. I bought it for pulling, not cheap!

Darryll Cassy I have a Sparten tuner with the 210 early lock tow haul tune loaded. What tuner do you have? Yes it WILL pull a camper!!!!

I had an adjustable "wing" above the cab on my 1995 Ford F350 with a 460 gasser. It glistened in the sun being polished aluminum ... it diverted a lot of bugs off the front cap ... it lightened my wallet a bit ... it didn't do a thing to gas mileage. These wings made for pickups cannot be compared to what used to be on semis before the cabs came about with the integrated wind spoilers ... they just aren't wide nor tall enough and don't come close to sealing to the top of the cab. Like said ... if they did produce a 3MPG fuel advantage ... you'd see boat loads of them on pickups.

I still have one that I have not used since I had my old flat front Vangaurd. I will say it helped with the old style flat front with mileage, cleaner front not the unit and it seemed to give a bit more stability towing in windy situations. I have not used it with the Montana as it is already way more aerodynamic then the old unit. My deflector is fiberglass and mounted on the bed rails and it was spring/shock loaded so it would be vertical at a stop or low speeds and then it would tilt back as you increased speed to guide the air over the Fifthwheel.
