Monty Spare Tire Rating

Pulled spare tire out from unit to see what the max tire pressure for wheel was. The spare is mounted on a steel wheel painted white. I looked on both sides of the wheel and there was no stamp indicating the max tire pressure. I am going to replace Marathon tires with the G614's on the aluminum wheels which are rated at 110 psi and want to replace the spare. Anyone know if the spare wheel is rated for 110 psi? I did contact Tredit and they thought it was rated at 110 psi. Not sure if anyone else had this question come up.

During my tire troubles I purchased a 2nd spare on an alum. rim, so all 5 on my Monty have 110psi and 3750 lbs. stamped on them. Yet my steel spare rim that came with the Monty only has 3750 lbs stamped. You know what they say about assumptions, but I assume the steel spare must be 110 psi.

Since there is a 3750 lb rating on the wheel and the only way to get that rating is to inflate a tire to 110 lbs, the wheel should be able to support 110lbs. I hope I am understanding the posts correctly.

Hopefully, LonnieB will come along to confirm.

The steel spare has a higher rating (3750) than the OEM aluminum wheels.

Thanks everyone. I think I will use the spare wheel with the G614 and save a few bucks in not buying a spare aluminum wheel. Hopefully I will never need to use it.
