Satallite connections

Does anyone really know how the connectors in the 2011 Monty work? I've looked and searched and can't find a diagram or instructions on how to use these connectors and I have a few questions.

1. Why are there 2 connectors in the upper left cabinet in the living room tv center labeled satellite? (if you jumper the upper to the lower does it just run the signal to the bedroom?

2. Do you just jumper the connectors in the bedroom from the satellite or cable connectors to where you want the signal? ie. basement or bedroom?

Thanks

This question gets asked all the time. A quick use of the Search tool would uncover a whole series of answers. This posting by John Kohl shows the two different schematics utilized. In your case, you want the second diagram for rigs manufactured after 1/2010.

Sure glad he brought it up again though. I had not even thought about this since I spent 4 years in a park that had cable. When we start traveling we have a portable satelite dish. Puzzle solved before it happens. I love this board.

Me too - Our new Montana will be here in a few weeks and that was one of the things I needed to figure out. I have found so many answers and time saving tips on this board. Thank you all for the valuable information.
