Apollo Half Time

My microwave convection oven has stopped working in my 2007 34' montana. We used the convection oven a lot want another one. Have not heard of good reviews on the Apollo although ours worked great for several years. What is a good replacement? Thanks Kraig

What happened to it that it stopped? Was it the door latch?
I know some have bought replacments, they will be along to help.

I am about to open mine for the 4th time. We really like it but it does have issues. Call Bob at Mid West Sales. (574-532-9632) He is the service man and he can probably tell you what is wrong with it. He will tell you what part to order and will give you instruction on how to install it. If you have difficulty you can call him while you have it open and he will walk you through it. Sometimes they have seconds that they will sell for about $140 plus shipping but he told me last week that they temporarily were out of them. Anyway, the first time you open one it is a bit intimidating but if I can do it anyone can. Good luck. Oh, after Bob tells you what part to get, call Tammy at 574-287-3365 to order. My parts came in three days.

Mine quit working right late last year. Would completely stop after 3-4 minutes. Then I could restart it after a couple more minutes, then it would stop again after another 3-4 minutes. Bob at Midwest Sales helped me with some troubleshooting, but could not solve the problem. I just bought a new one and installed it.
I asked about reconditioned ones, but the lady I spoke with said they had not been able to get any recently. She said the reconditioned ones are new scratch and dent models they have reconditioned. They do not rebuild used ones.

There is a small 110 volt syncronous motor under a panel on the bottom of the Appollo. You can order from any appliance parts house or off of e-bay for less than $20. I think Appollo quoted me $85, being the cheap curmudgeon that I am I'm sure you know where I got mine. You don't even need to take the whole thing apart, and as long as it is a 110 volt one any brand will do, just make sure the shaft is the same size and shape..

We used ours everyday for 5 years wife loved the convection oven for baking . it started to stop and when we smacked it on the front it would start, took to repair and theysaid they could not find anything wrong.. took it hom eused it 2-3 months and acted up again took it back to shop and mad sure they found the problem. I have the extended service contract and I called them and it was covered so for my $50 det they sent me a new one and so far great.

Like several others we called the customer service number and bought a "blemished" model for $116 plus shipping. Total was around $130, if I recall. That was 3 or 4 years ago and I think the prices are a bit higher now.
