Why just a 50 gal tank? It depends on how much money you want to spend. I purchased a 90 gal tank from Norhern Tool Company. It was not as expensive as most others. If price is no problem then check out the ads in Trailer life, or Highways magazine.

I have a 50 gal combination tool box and fuel tank . I find 50 gallons gives me all the range
I need and I have a V10 Gas. That is enough extra weight to put in the bed of a TV. You Diesel guys go a lot further than I do on a gal of fuel.
My tank sells for 1000 Canadian , about 900 US. Here's the link.

Mel bought his fuel tank-Toolbox combo in 2005 from Transfer-Flow out of Chico Calif, and couldn't be happier. Their Phone # is 1-800-442-0056. We just set up an appt. for on our way south, stopped at a park in Chico, had it installed and were on our way. If you get an early appointment it only take them about 5 hours to install. I'm sure after he goes on line he'll elaborate on this thread.

I second the Transfer Flow recommendation. I have one in my truck and even though a bit expensive, it is nice to have the auto transfer rather than having to manually pump.

I looked into a 2nd fuel tank and decided when the time comes, I will be going with Transfer Flow. Have a few friends who have them and they are very happy.
