Mels Truck

Well we made it to yuma with only a small amout of nursing.
Took the Truck in to be repaired.
$330.00 for a new Fuel filter parts and labor, now I know I could have changed the filter my self but as most of you will remember I thought it was the injectors in fact it had the same code as bad injectors.
they told me they had to change the filter to tell if it was the injectors so I said ok as that is what happened last time. The filter was $31.00 the rest was labor I sure am not doing somthing right I sure do not get that much for my labor.
Needless to say I will not be going back there.

Mel,

I'm glad you were able to get it fixed so quickly. I assume the fix was easier and less costly than the injectors. Anyway I'm just glad you got it fixed.

Wish I had know it was your filter at the quartzsite gathering. I carry one in my truck at all times, I would have been glad to put it on for you.
It is cheap insurance to keep one under the back seat.
