No 120volt

We keep our 2020 3931FB plugged (50 amp)in while not using at home. I just realized yesterday that I have no 120 volt in the coach. We had a power flicker numerous times recently and it did go out for several hours. Power came back on and I have not checked the coach for 3 or 4 days since then. I assume the power issue has caused something to happen to power in our coach. I have a Watchdog surge protector that is working properly. It has the correct power coming through it. Also our 3931FB is a Legacy that has a built in surge protector. Wonder if that is my problem? I have checked the GCFI in the half bath and it doesn't seem to be tripped.
Any ideas as to what to try?

If you are ok with checking live 120 vac with a voltmeter, I would open the power distribution center and see if you have power at the main circuit breaker and all the sub breakers. Then you will know which way to check further.

Good idea. I have been thinking about that. I will check later today and report back what I find.

Well I do not have power to trailer breaker box. Voltage coming from source is fine. Looking for Surge Guard built in unit.

Before digging into the trailer I'd check it at the trailer end of your 50 amp cord. Do the simple things first.

Well, I found the problem, what I figured all a long. Its the built in surge protector. It does not want to reset itself after the power comes on. I can manually reset it though and everything works fine. The indicator lights do not indicate an issue though. Its a PD52DCS.
The The trailer is 1 year old. i will call my dealer tomorrow and see how he wants to handle this.

You have an automatic transfer switch that has some surge protection. It is probably the automatic transfer switch that is giving you the problem. It is unusual for that to happen however.

That PD52DCS is an automatic transfer switch for generator prepped rigs. They have had lots of problems with them not resetting after a power interruption. They should be replaced under warranty. You can manually reset it until replaced.

I have manually reset it today and all is well. I will reach out to the manufacturer tomorrow. May just replace with a junction box as I will never install a generator in the unit.

Just call them with the serial number that is on the transfer switch box, and your purchase date. It has a 2 year parts warrantee. I have one coming by fedex tomorrow. I do not think the labor to replace it is covered. I am changing it myself.

Thats exactly what i did today. I called and they are sending a replacement. I will change myself. Thinking about eliminating the transfer switch and installing a junction box instead.

The ATS will come in handy if you decide to add a front shore power cable.

It would come in handy also if you add a solar system.

I changed my unit out with the replacement. All good now. The only way to get my old one to work was to manually push the contact in. Once I did that the contact would stay in place until I turned my power off. Need to be very careful when doing this as the incoming wire is hot. It takes power for the contact to stay in place.

The transfer switch is box is not very easy to get to. Mine was located behind the On Command box in the storage compartment. You will have to remove that wall panel to get to it.
