Broken Roof Vent Cap

I have a 2010 3750 FL, it's a great 5ft wheel with all the bells and whistles. I noticed a while back that the vent cap above the front living room has a couple of holes in it. Is it possible to just replace the plastic cap? If so where would I find one? I'm not sure what size it is but it looks pretty standard. thanks tony k.

Any RV dealership. More than likely you will not find an exact match. BUT any of them will work. It's on the roof, no one will see it. I have 2 vents on my roof and I've lost both of them being ripped off because of low tree branches. I've replaced both. One is white the other is black. Both had a metal clip that clipped to the pipe vent and both had a place for a screw in the top. The screw hole did not match up good, so I used the clip. Both have held on now for a couple years. While I was doing it, I purchased 2 extra spares. Luckly, I haven't had to use them yet. I really anticipated the clips not holding on well and the camp would fly off when on the road because of the wind. It hasn't happened yet.

or check your local RV dealership parts store. Prices will varry.

Here's one more. I'm assuming yours is the pipe vent, but here's the attic roof vent. You said there was a hole, so not sure if you meant a hole in the roof or a hole where the pipe comes through. So, either way, here's the attic vent. In order to get JUST the cover, you do have to buy the entire thing. They don't come separate, at least I've never seen one sold separate. So if this is what you are talking about, purchase the whole thing and just use the cap.

Thanks for the help, it's not a pipe it would be one of those crank up screened air vents. This one in particular is in the ceiling dead center of the front living room and just the plastic outer cover has hole issues. Hoping to just buy the outer plastic cap/cover I guess you would call it rather than replacing the entire assembly.

Yes sir, that's exactly what I need to replace. I didn't know they were that easy to find. We live in the west central mountains of Idaho so no dealerships or parts houses close by. We have to travel about 150 mls to the closest dealership so buying on line is the best way to go for us, thanks Tony K.

That is not a roof vent cap,it is a roof vent cover. I ordered two of the vent caps only thru Bj's rv and marine for $6.00 ea. as most places do not even carry the complete roof vent cap assembly much less just the cap.

Strange thing I noticed on 2 of mine. They have a fine crack visible along side the bracket attachment from inside the rig, I was getting ready to replace them but on the roof there is no crack in either of them. The motor pulls down so hard on those covers its a wonder they last at all!

He is probably talking about that attic vent. Those vent covers just screw on to like a 3/8 threaded stud.
You can however just buy the cap cuz I bought two to replace mine years ago. You do not have to buy the entire unit. However I must not have kept any paperwork so I couldn't tell you where I got them

The vent located at both ends of the roof are 'mushroom vents'. Just replaced both. They get very brittle over a few years in direct sunlight. Our forward vent leaked into the rv. since replacing no more wet carpet.

Etrailer has them. Mushroom Vent - White Item # 37202-29125 $14.43 each.

I lightly sand the new mushroom vent cap and then paint them. The paint protects them from UV degradation.
