Rubber Roof paint

Several motorhome owners in the park have used a Dupont product designed for rubber roofs. $100 per gallon, takes about two, plus a special cleaner/activator from Dupont as well. Rolls on, looks like a brand new roof, with a flexible rubber-like finish, and I looked at one that had been done two years ago, and it looked really good. According to Dupont, it significantly extends the life of the roof membrane. Has anyone out there used that or a similar product on their roof?

Looks like you trade like me ... about every 5 years. I've never had issue with the rubber roof at the 5 and 6 year intervals when I traded, so I'm just going to keep it clean and 303 it twice each year.

Guy here in the park had this done this year. He also done a test sample last season on another rig of several square feet. So far both look really good. I'm thinking about it for next year. Ours is 2004 and showing wear on the slides now.

Our unit is 12 years old roof still looks good. You have to pay attention to the seam's that meet the front and rear cap's and around Vents etc. The self-leveling sealant need's inspected and replaced when it shows signs of cracking. This is the area where you are going to have roof problems not the EPDM membrane.
