Easy in/out Fuel Stops around Stockton CA

Well ..... lets see .... I did a search for fuel stops, gas stops, internet search for same ..... came up empty. (No Pun Intended

I have the NextExit book (Subscription Ran out for the online goodies) - good info but looking for something searchable that says "Easy in/out for RV's" or something to that effect.

One Q @ a time I guess. Headed out of San Diego CA, to Paso Robles CA then up to Reno NV. I have been stuck East of Sacramento looking for a station that is easy to get into and out of ..... Auburn ..... tricky at best. Would prefer to fill up on I-5 somewhere near Stockton. Anybody got any ideas?

Second Q - is there software that will show those details? I am using Microsoft Streets and Trips for the mileage and time.

Any help would be appreciated.

homendn,

On I-5 at Lodi there is a Flying J. I believe it is at Ave. 12. It is easily visible from the freeway. It is a busy station but they have 3 RV lanes. Maybe only two but still relatively easy to get in and out. We stop there almost every time we head north.

If you go to the main page on the MOC Forum and scroll down toward the bottom of the page you will find FAVORITE AND HELPFUL LINKS. There are a couple of helpful fuel finding tools listed there.

Good luck.

There's also the station at S French Camp rd that's easy on and off. Use to be an Exxon station not sure if it's still run by them. It use to be our 'going north' fuel stop.

The Flying J off Interstate 5 in Lodi is at Hwy 12 not Ave 12. Also there is Joe's Fuelstop just a little further south in Ripon and in Westley both on the left side of the freeway. The Westley one is easier to get to then Ripon one is.

No help on stations, but there is a Truckers version of the NextExit. I figure if a truck (18 wheeler) can get in there, so can our 5ers.

Full exact name of book, I don't remember, we found at a truck stop, of course.

It, like NextExit, is only useful on I ways, the US ways are not listed.

kegger5769,

Thanks for the correction. I knew it had a 12 in it!

Dave,

The Exxon is still there. It looks relatively easy to get in an out. But the Flying J is easier.

Wow, I never thought to get on here and ask about easy in and out gas stations. I can now see once gain the Moc family helps in many ways.

In the future I will remember this.....in the past we always would look for Chevron gas stations on the GPS.....Chevron has always proven to be easy to get in and out of.
